Welcome to Padgett House Crafts. Please excuse the mess. We’re just moving into this blogspot.  But mi casa, su casa. Come on in, pull up a chair, and make your self at home. So this is my first post, on my first blog, the first day I opened my first etsy shop (PADGETTHOUSE.ETSY.COM) the week of my first craft show.  It's kinda a big week for me.  You see, I have always been "crafty".  I've always been the one making my sister's poster board for her school project, even though I didn't do my own homework. Or the one asked to help decorate a wedding, even though the bride doesn't even like me.  I'm the one who makes awesome Christmas gifts for some people I can't stand. All because, I love making things. When people walk through my house (on a good day when the toys are put away and the clothes are picked up) they say "Wow. Where did you get this?" or "I want one like this." but they are surprised to find out I made it myself.  I have always loved creating things and seeing people's reactions. Even if I just make something and keep it myself, I enjoy the heck out of it.  So that's what I've been doing for years. Creating & Crafting.  And now I am ready to jump full throttle into the old craft show world. This decision all happened about a week and a half ago, and my first show is in 4 days. I'm kinda spontaneous. I'm not doing it totally alone though. My hunk of a husband, Mr. Padgett is helping me. Without him, I would have no chance. So it's Tuesday, my craft show is Saturday, and I still have lots of crafts to finish, business cards to make, find a table clothe, ect. ect. ect. ect.  Oh and all those things to do are not my priority, my number one is my sons. So between the shenanigans my fav little hooligans cause, I will be working on my craft show list. Hopefully it works out, if not there’s always Home Sweet Home J
